Where golf meets true nature

Located on the eastern Algarve coast, Quinta da Ria Resort is a premier golfing destination, home to two exceptional 18-hole courses—Ria and Cima Golf Course—both offering remarkable scenery. Just over 30 minutes from Faro International Airport, the resort is nestled within the Ria Formosa Natural Park, a protected wetland and one of the Algarve’s most important ecosystems, supporting a rich variety of flora and fauna.

Designed by renowned architect Rocky Roquemore, Ria Golf Course is often regarded by experienced golfers as one of the most scenic courses in the region, featuring sweeping sea views, sandy beach islands, and mountains on the horizon. Cima, the championship course, presents a different challenge with its wide fairways, well-positioned bunkers, and a network of lakes and streams that demand precision and strategic club selection. Its water hazards and longer fairways ensure an engaging and challenging experience for even the most skilled players.

Ria Golf Course

Nestled within the Ria Formosa Natural Park, Ria Golf Course offers a stunning backdrop with sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and Cacela Velha Beach. This 18-hole, par 72 course, features strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, providing a challenging and enjoyable round for golfers of all levels.

Cima Golf Course

Cima Golf Course is our championship course, featuring expansive fairways, multiple bunkers, and a stream that meanders through much of the layout. It presents a demanding challenge for golfers looking to refine their skills. Golfers will feel immersed in the authentic Algarve landscape, surrounded by traditional olive and carob trees.
